Update on Eversource Power Outages

On Wednesday, Eversource crews began making repairs and restoration efforts in Acton due to a heat-related equipment issue at one of their substations, which caused a power outage for approximately 11,000 customers.

Crews were able to restore power to the majority of those customers, but a separate weather-related equipment failure caused an outage to approximately 3,000 customers.  As of Thursday morning, power was restored to nearly 100% of the town.&n...

Please be aware that the Registry of Motor Vehicles has recently changed the systems they use to calculate the taxes owed on motor vehicles.

The RMV has updated valuations to more accurately reflect the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) and they now round to the nearest dollar. These changes may impact certain motor vehicles and the associated excise tax bill.
