Overview
The Acton Housing Authority (AHA) is governed by a five-member Board of Commissioners who appoints an Executive Director. Four members of the Board are elected by residents of the Town, and the fifth member is appointed by the Governor of Massachusetts.
The AHA provides affordable rental housing units in the Town of Acton and rental assistance in the form of subsidies to low-income individuals and families so that they can rent housing in the private market.
