The 2025 Community Preservation Act season has begun!

The Community Preservation Plan was adopted by the Committee on September 24th.  

The application period is now open. Applications are due on November 12th, 2024. Please see the Guidelines for Submission in the Plan and the Word version of the application.

Overview
Community Preservation Act - The CPC is charged with studying the needs, possibilities, and resources of Acton regarding community preservation. Its members are representatives from other Acton committees or residents of the Town of Acton.

Other CPC duties include:

• Overseeing the Acton Community Preservation Fund
• Selecting preservation projects
• Recommending selected projects to Town Meeting for funding
